Romeo & Juliet
“A big-budget TV show seeks to replicate Shakespeare's well-known play. For the creation of this version, the director is inclined to turn some male characters into female characters (and vice versa). The story will take place in England, between 1580 and 1620.
Each character will wear a different costume, influenced by their personality. The silhouettes and fabrics conforming to the aesthetics of the chosen period of the Renaissance bring realism and professionalism to the project. Each family is represented by a palette of colors relating to their values.

Julian
The male version of Juliette (Julien) was done by Lynne. The golden borders bring finishing touches and richness to the costume, just like the fabric of the doublet which has been made by hand. Textile modifications add a touch of luxury and attention to detail that stands out.
Lady Montague
Lady Montaigu (Romeo's mother) was designed by Romane. The volume of the skirt is created using period-related underwear: a farthingale and several bumrolls. The fabric of the skirt and the stomach piece was beaded by hand in order to enrich the costume of the wealthy family. The lace collar and cuffs add delicacy to the costume, similar to the simple and sweet character of the character.
Paris
The Paris costume was made by Marianne. A lining was made using foam to create the silhouette of the costume. The fake foam body gives the character the necessary opulence and differentiates it from the other characters in the room. The velvet cape enriches the costume of this emotionally intense character.
